Ok so I love my VItamix blender and have used it an avergae of 2x/day since I received it for xmas (Thanks hubs). I have been dying to make this cabbage soup recipe from the book that came with it because I had a head of cabbage rolling around in the crisper from that darn CSA box. I sauteed the cabbage using this recipe, then I shredded some leftover chicken and pulverized some onion, carrot, garlic and broth. The recipe asks you to blend until steam appear on the top of the blender which would make you think the onion gets cooked, right? Wrong. It tasted STRONGLY of raw onion as I assume my breath smelled ALL DAY. Eek. Next time, carmelize th
