BP Oysterette

We went to Blue Plate Oysterette this weekend after reading about it for almost 6 months.  It was by far one of my favorite dining experiences in LA since Bottega Louie. (I would post pics but we devoured everything that was placed in front of us).  You might see some inconsistency with my stories and my pictures.  My intent is to take pictures of beautiful food and tell you how insanely delicious it was, however, I am human and get distracted and have to eat immediatelyYou may just end up with the random paper tray with a few lingering french fries.  If you see that, just know you need to eat there.

We started with 6 different varieties of oysters.  My faves with the Garrish Bay, but they were all off the charts; ice cold, fresh and delish.  We were saddened by the news that the fried clams were not available sine weather on the East coast was not permitting.  We settled on a pan of dry roasted mussels with wine and garlic and a lobster roll with a super light mayo on brioche.  When we were done with it, I realized I forgot to get a picture of the beauty.  All you are left with is a few lonely fries and the memory of a fantastic, Boston-style lobster roll.  Man.
