Sometimes I really miss Dunkin Donuts. I've heard they exist out here but I've yet to see one. Sometimes you just want a cheap but good coffee that won't blow you through the roof with caffeine, and a good old fashioned donut. I don't really eat doughnuts these days being gluten free and all, but one day I was just dying for one. I googled gluten free donut recipes and up popped this brilliance on the Pamela's baking site. Its really quite brillz. Easy too! I fried the doughnut holes in grapeseed oil and have to say I like them best just cinnamon and sugar. (I even did xylitol instead of real sugar). I have to say I will definitely be making these suckers again. They hit the spot.
Has anyone tried Fonuts, the new healthy donut spot 3rd street? I'm so jells of you West Hollywoodians. I wish there was a babycakes out here or something.
PS my gluten-loving husband mowed like 4 in a row. Good sign.
